Listed below are some policies, rules, and regulations pertaining to REC Center usage. Adherence to these
policies will help ensure the safety and enjoyment for all who use the REC Center. Thank you!
GENERAL
- Children under the age of 12 will not be allowed in the building or pool area without adult supervision, 16 years or older,
unless attending a supervised activity or program.
- Children under the age of 13 are not permitted in the weight room.
- No foul language or unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind will be tolerated.
- No street shoes are allowed on the racquetball or gymnasium floors.
- Small children are not to be left unattended.
- No smoking in the facility.
- No alcoholic beverages will be permitted in or on REC Center property.
- Removal or vandalism of any REC Center property warrants immediate forfeiture of membership and legal action.

- Disciplinary suspension procedure is as follows: 1st offense = 1-3 days; 2nd offense = 1 week; 3rd offense = membership will,
be revoked and must appear before REC Board before reinstatement. Any REC supervisor has the right to suspend any
individual for any amount of time depending on severity of the offense.
The REC Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Lockers are available for your use.
Membership numbers must be provided at the front desk to enter the facility.

POOL/SPA
- Individuals must be 18 years of age to swim alone
- Children 6 years of age and under must be accompanied by and adult, 16 years or older, at all times.
- Children 7-12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, 16 years or older, at all times, unless a lifeguard is on duty.
- The pool may be closed due to programming. Programming schedules will be posted regularly.
- The spa will also be closed when scheduled programming is taking place in the pool.
- No horseplay or running is allowed in the pool area.
- No food, drink, or chewing gum is allowed in the pool area.
- No diving is allowed in the pool or spa.
- Appropriate swim attire is required at all times. No t-shirts should be worn in the pool or spa.
- Everyone must take a shower before entering the pool or spa.
- Any persons with a medical condition, including pregnancy, should not use the spa without first consulting a physician.
- It is prohibited for anyone with a contagious disease to enter the pool or spa.
- Do not use the spa immediately following strenuous exercise or while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
- Do not use the spa longer than 15 minutes at a time.
- Occupancy of the spa should not exceed 8 people.
- It is recommended that anyone under the age of 13 not use the spa.
- For your own safety, do not put your head under water while in the spa.

LOCKER ROOMS
- Children 5 years of age and under may accompany the opposite sex parent into the locker room. Children 6 years of age and - Older must use the appropriate locker room.
- Members and non-members may use a locker by trading their membership card, keys, or drivers license, for a locker key.
- Lockers are available for rent on a yearly basis. Please ask staff member for more information.
- The REC Center is not responsible for valuable items. The front desk staff will not hold such items.
- Each member is responsible for his/her belongings.
- Please respect other members by keeping the locker rooms clean and neat.
- Locker rooms will be checked frequently by staff throughout the day.

WALKING/JOGGING TRACK
- Tennis shoes and shirts are required for the track
- No racing on the track is allowed
- Those walking or running at a slower pace should use the inside lane. Passing is to be done on the outside lane.

RACQUETBALL
- Courts may be reserved up to 7 days in advance.
- Court reservations will be held for 10 minutes into the court hour you have reserved. The court will be considered “open”
- Once the 10 minutes has expired.
- Protective eye-guards are required.
- Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, 16 years or older.
- Deliberate abuse to court walls or the facility will not be tolerated.
